A strong Boys U15s draw saw Jack Mahon, Louis Murray and Fin Irish seeded at 1, 3 and 4 respectively.
In the first semi-final, Louis played Alex Broadbridge (BU13s No. 4 and BU15s No. 23 ranked). Louis played tight and focussed squash, winning 2-0 (11-4, 11-9) against the 2nd seed.
In the second semi-final, Jack played Fin in an all-Cornish contest. Fin came into the match after beating the higher ranked Joe Pannell 2-0 and was full of confidence. Jack won the 1st game 20-18 in a very tight, skilful and exciting game. In the 2nd game Jack sped into an early lead and eventually won the game 11-2.
The final saw Louis and Jack play some beautiful squash with unforced errors at a minimum. Louis took the first game 11-7. In the second game Louis continued to play positively and had 4 match balls at 10-7, but Jack played some brilliant squash and eventually won the game 12-10.
In the 3rd and deciding game Louis tightened and straightened his game and played with great strength and control. Louis eventually won that game and the match 11-8.
